1969年から愛され続けているアラビアのクラシックシリーズ、”パラティッシ”。緻密な構図で描かれたフルーツや花々と鮮やかな色彩が魅惑的なデザインは、フィンランド語で楽園と名付けられました。フィンランドで陶芸界で最も知られる人物のひとりであるビルガー・カイピアイネンによる名作。
パラティッシの器をひとつ取り入れるだけで、日常のテーブルが華やかな空気に包まれます。
濡れたような瑞々しい色調の繊細なアート作品から、ビルガー・カイピアイネンは”プリンス オブ セラミック”や”キング オブ デコレーター”と賞賛されています。
ブルー&イエローのカラータイプが初期のデザインで、1972年にはブラックのパラティッシが誕生します。その後、2012年にフィンランドの百貨店ストックマンの創業150周年記念に特別カラーとしてパープルが登場し、ラインナップに加わりました。

Arabia “Paratiisi” Tea Cup & Saucer – Blue & Yellow

Since 1969, Paratiisi has been one of Arabia’s most cherished classic series. Featuring a meticulously composed design of fruits and flowers in vivid colors, its name—meaning “Paradise” in Finnish—perfectly captures its enchanting beauty.

This masterpiece by Birger Kaipiainen, one of Finland’s most renowned ceramic artists, instantly transforms an everyday table setting into something special. Kaipiainen’s delicate works, with their lustrous, almost dewy colors, have earned him titles such as “The Prince of Ceramics” and “The King of Decorators.”

The Blue & Yellow colorway was the original design, followed by the Black Paratiisi in 1972. In 2012, a special Purple edition joined the lineup to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Finland’s Stockmann department store.
