1969年から愛され続けているアラビアのクラシックシリーズ、”パラティッシ”。緻密な構図で描かれたフルーツや花々と鮮やかな色彩が魅惑的なデザインは、フィンランド語で楽園と名付けられました。フィンランドで陶芸界で最も知られる人物のひとりであるビルガー・カイピアイネンによる名作。
パラティッシの器をひとつ取り入れるだけで、日常のテーブルが華やかな空気に包まれます。
濡れたような瑞々しい色調の繊細なアート作品から、ビルガー・カイピアイネンは”プリンス オブ セラミック”や”キング オブ デコレーター”と賞賛されています。
ブルー&イエローのカラータイプが初期のデザインで、1972年にはブラックのパラティッシが誕生します。その後、2012年にフィンランドの百貨店ストックマンの創業150周年記念に特別カラーとしてパープルが登場し、ラインナップに加わりました。

Arabia “Paratiisi” Tea Cup & Saucer – Blue & Yellow

Since its debut in 1969, the Paratiisi series has remained one of Arabia’s most beloved classics. Its intricate composition of fruit and flowers, combined with vivid colors, creates a captivating design worthy of its Finnish name, “Paradise.”

A masterpiece by Birger Kaipiainen—one of Finland’s most celebrated ceramic artists—the Paratiisi collection brings a touch of elegance and joy to everyday dining. Kaipiainen’s exquisite, lustrous color palette has earned him titles such as “The Prince of Ceramics” and “The King of Decorators.”

The Blue & Yellow colorway was the original 1969 design, followed by the Black Paratiisi in 1972. In 2012, a special Purple edition was introduced to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Finland’s Stockmann department store.
